loss of power issue is it a fuel issue

I have a98 ocean pro 175 model e175execd. After it runs at about 3/4 throttle it will lose power and sound like a rev limiter. You can bump it down to about 1/4 throttle and it will do fine. Once you let it sit for a few minutes you can crank it up and it will run fine. I was thinking fuel issue any ideas

Could have a restriction in carb or could be misfiring 1 or 2 cylinders, carbs are easy to clean might try that first.

ok ill try that if misfiring where would I look coils?
