1987 70hp

Thanks in advance - I recently purchased a boat with an Evinrude 70hp - first time out she ran like a charm - I noticed lots of oil/grease at motor mount motor hinge or stern bracket/swivel bracket... need I be concerned? is this normal for all or only older (27 yr old engines).. Oil mix used is 50:1

I have a 1988 90hp that does this, but only when I use it for trolling long periods. If I use it strictly for getting from point A to point B, I don't see any leakage. If you have a VRO, that could be the issue. I still use my VRO and haven't had any problems. Not bad for a 26 year old motor.
