Just bought a glastron gt150 with a 1978 evinrude 70. Boat runs and idles well has decent power until half throttle and then no more power. After half throttle there is no acceleration. If I hit rough water the boat picks up speed and runs great until it smooths out. At full throttle I can spray carb cleaner into the carbs and it takes off. Sound like a fuel issue to me. Plugs look Good. 110+ compression on all cylinders. Have not yet rebuilt the carbs. Wondering if that's where I should go next or possible fuel pump? Checked screen on fuel inlet to motor and fuel pickup in tank. Also checked spark all 3 cyl hot and easily jump .5" gap. Anybody see anything one this before? Thank you for your time.
