2000 evinrude 90 hp outboard

i have a 2000 evinrude 90 hp outboard. it burnt the number 2 ignition coil, so i replaced the coil. now it won't rev higher than 3000 rpm in gear, is there are limp mode code in ecm that needs to be cleared? it will rev to 5500 rpm in reverse though. not in forward. thanks for your help.the model number of engine isE90FLSSH

No codes should have to be cleared but may have to have it diagnosed to see if still has a problem besides one coil. Recheck wire connections.

Thoughtit might be simple fix changing coil. Will get it diognosed. Thanks for the help, John.
