warning beep

Was out crusing today and got a warning beep. Engine hot, low oil, and check engine. Also the tach was jumping from 4200 to under 1000. And also same prob at full throttle. Water pump seemed to be working fine and engine did not rev down when tach was jumping. I am running a 1996 evenrude ocean pro 175 hp. Any suggestions

Put a 50:1 oil mix in gas until find out what problem is, check to see if engine is overheating with a infrared thermometer. Squeeze oil primer bulb hard to see if alarm goes off. If engine is not overheating then probably VRO pump.
