I'm havering an issue that may be a problem. First let me say there carbs are clean, I took the off, took them apart batted them blew them out put new gaskets in and set float levels. The thing I noticed is these are 1 5/16 carbs. I don't think these are stack for this motor, the problem is it seems to be loading up at idle, there is no fuel mix screw. I did a couple of basic checks, compression at 142 on 2 3 4 and 140 on 1. No leaks at the power head. Did just think of something thought the plugs in it are the same plugs that were in it when stored, probably ought to change those. They are ngk br9hs-10. Should I put champions in? Plugs really freak out some people with outboards. I have heard that you can swap out the carbs intakes and exhaust baffles with the 115 because the bore and stroke are the same. Looks like only the carbs are the only thing swapped. Ant ideas?
