My mother just gave me a nice boat with a 1992 Evinrude 60 HP with about 30 hours on it. Anyway, It’s obviously spent most of its life sitting and not running. Last time it ran was about a year ago. The motor and its components looks to be remarkably good shape but I am getting no spark when I turn it over. Actually, I get an initial few weak sparks and then nothing. This is the case on all cylinders / plugs. Plugs are almost new. Someone said to check / disconnect the black & yellow kill switch wire, yet I cannot find any such wire and there is no kill switch at the ignition? Was also told it could be a bad coil pack. But all three bad? Any thoughts or suggestions. Getting plenty of fuel (new), spins over fine but no start / spark. I cannont afford to just start replacing random parts..Thanks in advanced,
