Does anyone know what the max rpm of a johnson/evinrude 140hp was on the 1977 bubbleback crossflow outboard engine.
a friend of mine has one of these beasts and is trying to find out the ma revs so we can tune it like it the day it came from factory.
A ll the ignition is stock and so too sre the carbs.
No re-jetting or hi performance stuff has been added to this motor, its pure stock.
This is the engine with the single powerpack and the mega-phone tuner for the exhaust.
any info would be real good
