100-to-1?

I just purchased a 1985 Evinrude 15 hp 2-stroke. Is the gas-to-oil ratio the usual 50:1? Near where the fuel line attaches, there is a sticker that reads: [outline of gas pump]100/[outline of oil drop]1, indicating 100:1?

I have a 79 evinrude 25 hp I purchased used. always thought ratio was
50-1, this engine has a 100-1 sticker near the fuel line hook-up.
which is correct. 100-1 seems light.

The 100/1 ratio was recalled... DO NOT use this ratio! This will introduce you to problems that you would rather avoid.

Stick to the 50/1 ratio.
