1996 90hp gas excessive

How much gas ?
how big is the boat ?
what type of boat ?
what speed do you run at ? rpm etc.

a 2 stroke 90hp would use around 34 litres per hour at full throttle !!

thats around 7.5 uk gallons or 9 us gallons per hour.

i know this sounds a lot but that is with a very good condition engine running
at full wide open throttle.

outboard engines use a lot more fuel than people think, and the 4 strokes are not much better.
