Removing spark plug + 1996 15HP + four stroke

What a pain to remove that lower spark plug on my 15hp 1996 for stroke.
The fuel pump is in the way and also the lower cover is not easy to take of.

I however did the job, but someone might have an advice or a tool to facilitate that routine maintenance.
