hi i am having a problem with my 1975 25hp outboard i have replaced all the ignition coils the plugs the stator coil, points, and condensers as a refresh for this engine. now i am having a problem it had spark before but it has none now, i checked all my grounds they have basically no resistance so they are good. i bought a service book i gapped the points to .020 and since i dont have the tool to gap the stator coil i used a strait edge on the mounting plates as the book told me it would work... i think this is where my problem is im not shure how to gap this peice could anyone help me out? if so thanks

Put some paint on the coil to see if it is dragging against the magnet.If not ,set it to where it will rub the paint off and start from there.If you did not change the condesers do so. -
I did change the condensors do you think that is my problem though?Comment
