I have a b ay boat and I want to pull people skiing and I need to change props ,I have an evinrude 115 with factory prop,to many shops tell me different props

ok so lets start with getting to know what you have.
what prop is it and what size....diameter and pitch.
what revs are your maximum you get and what is your top speed now ?
if you have a good top end already you can simply drill vent holes to make the prop think its smaller pitch for pulling away but still give same top end performance.
By drilling 3 simple 1/2 inch holes the prop will think its 2 to 3 inch smaller and so will let your holeshot improve big time.
many shops will just try to sell you whatever they have in stock at the time.
are you getting the max revs now ?
