1975 15HP Engine, needing new cylinder...HELP?

evinrude outboard 15hp, been a bit of a restoration project, after much gentle persuasion and bad language she finally did the maiden voyage yesterday, absolutely brilliant. Started mucking about a bit after a couple of hours, but still roared up full throttle with a little reluctance. Stuck her in the water today and gradually it became apparent that something not quite right, never conked out but felt like a cylinder was intermittent. pulled her out the water lifted the hood, top ignition coil nicely cracked. Two questions...is there anywhere in this country where I can purchase a replacement part. No 0502880 coil in less than the two weeks it will take from the states, Or is there a temporary bodge like wrapping it tightly in insulating tape that may give a little more time running?
