Hey guys,
First post here and new outboard owner.
I recently bought a 1984 Evinrude 15 horse and it runs like a top. However, I noticed that the indicator on the throttle arm doesn't line up with the gears/speed.
The previous owner added the white line. The white line seems to line up as it should and I've been using it as a reference point. I'm the kind of guy that if it works, leave it alone but also if it's a simple fix to fix the problem.
I'm guessing someone took the arm off and just didn't align it properly, but thought I'd ask the experts.
Any ideas?
