2000 225hp Ficht
DFI still has my EMM, it was over charging and they honored warranty, They said the biggest enemy to the voltage rect/regulator is water flow or a bad impeller, they "fixed" this emm last October and back then I installed a new water pump and both batteries.
They still say the same statement, poor water flow, so I checked the water legend, in/out the Fuel Vapor Sep. and confirmed water flows in and out into the mid section.
But today I contacted a local tech and said the stator could "fry" the regulator.
Is there any other components in the charging system (Stator, Capacitor, Filter Module, Coils, etc) that could be related to destroy the regulator?
Thanks in advanced
Nelson
