Hey all,
I have an 97 Evinrude 130. Other day my boat ran great all day until I got it back to my house and flushed the motor noticed the RPM was varying. Didnt think anything of it and took it out the next day and I made it around the corner from the boat ramp and it died.
It starts up but sounds bad, not smooth at all. When I throttle up to 2000 RPMs it'll fluctuate RPMs as low as 1000 and go up to 2500. I can pump the primer bulb and itll stay running, crappy but running. When it dies the bulb isnt hard.
I have checked everything I can think of. I did change the fuel separator between the two trips but Ive changed it again since. Ive used a differnent fuel tank, a different primer bulb ( both new). I just cleaned the carbs a few months ago but checked them again, pulled the pump apart, diagram was good and intact (i premix too ), I checked the pulse line, seemed fine, I checked fuel pressure between carbs and pump, only got maybe 1 psi but I dont know what it should be.. help please!
