Ignition switch

I broke my key off in my 1992 OMC Push button choke ignition. I went to a marine dealer and bouight a new one, I replaced each wire onto the new one as I took it off the old One! Got all finished and NOTHING, TOTALLY DEAD! any ideas?

Check inline fuse on engine and recheck wire connections to switch.
