60 hp triumph problems

I got either a 1970s or 71 60 hp. outboard motor given to me. It is in great shape but hasn't run for 10 years. I had to replace the lower unit on it and had it running. Last night i put it on the water and it idles and runs fine, but when I start to throtle up in forward it acts like its flooding out under the load. In nuetrel it throtles up fine. Could this be a result of it setting so long and varnish? I havent ran any sea foam yet, i was just making sure the replacement of the lower unit was operational.

Yes probably will need to remove and clean carbs.

Will running some sea foam be worth a try before I remove the carbs? The other thing I question is I replaced my lower unit. The old one had two water pump hook ups, the one I put on only had one.
