Hello Sirs and Madams,
Could you help me please to determine and solve the problem that happened with my outboard engine Evinrude E40DPLSDA 12/2005 ? The problem is that the spark is dissapeared. I bought the kit of diagnostics, but the EMM is not answering, I have checked by tester all wires of EMM, they have 12V supply. How do you think what could be the reasons of this problem?

The problem is happened when we started the engine on land to drain the water in winter season. I have checked the capacitor, it is working well. When i turn the key to the second position, the electric stater will begin to turn the flywheel and the third lamp from the top will flashing and the engine will not start because of absent the spark. I have checked the diagnostic kit in another engine Evinrude 60 and it worked well, but in my engine EMM does not communicate to make the diagnostic. What can you advise me to do, i have the good electronic masters, maybe need to replace something inside of EMM?
