87 Evinrude 50 won't idle any length of time

My E50TLCUD Serial G1421871 50 HP Evinrude Starts good. Runs great at full RPM. I like to troll at 2 MPH. At idle it runs fine for a little while, then it begins to run rough. If I choke it (remote choke) it will recover for a bit and then goes through the same cycle. what do i need to do to fix this?

Try pumping primer bulb to keep it running without choking it. If pumping primer bulb keeps it running then fuel pump or fuel hose going to engine problem. If only choking it helps then need to clean and rebuild carbs.
