  • rough idle

I have a E50TLEUC 1996 that idles very rough at about 1,000 rpm. I just had the carbs rebuilt and new spark plugs. My question is; is there a low speed adjustment on the carbs? A couple other things = compression is 150lb in both cylinders, it throws a spark forever.

    Thanks
    Dan

Check sync on carbs and try to adjust low speeds needles.

Thanks for the reply. Can someone help me locate the low speed idle needles?

May have the EPA tamper proof plugs over screws.

Not sure what they look like, good answers but a little visual aid would help out a lot. Don't know what it looks like, help!!!!!!! A little more info = doesn't seem like it is hitting on both cylinders at idle. And again, both carbs have been rebuilt, has lots of spark, lot of compression = 150lbs/cylinder, fresh gas.
Something else that I might add is that the oil injection system has been byp***ed= oil is mixed outside of engine, alarm has been disconneted at the engine. Still looking for a smooth idle. Engine stalls between shifts = forward and reverse. Good lord I guess I should have said deleted verses byp***ed.
Just wondering is this site edited by a primitive Baptist = byp***ed

          Thanks
