hey i have a older motor that has been sitting for about 2 years. I got running the other day for about 20 mins by just shooting some gas in the carb. I had the carb running pretty rich but it still sounded like it was starving from fuel. I tried to get it started a few days after and it wouldnt run for more than a few minutes before dieing. Its spits water fine and the ball on the fuel line seems to stay firm.( it dose leak a bit of fuel ware the fule line connects the motor) The guy i got it from said he did the plugs and wires before he stopped useing it and they dont look to used. Im wondering if this has to do with the injectors from the 2 stroke oil, or if theres a problem with the carb, Iv worked on cars for years but this is the first outboard iv delt with. Any help would be great, Thanks.
