recently purchased, had it serviced. New impeller, fluids & plugs changed. Tested it for the first time. Started right up trolled perfectly. But when you go full throttle every 20 or so seconds it surges. Does not stall just surges almost like its skipping. Power it back to trolling speed and it runs awesome. Any ideas?

try pumping fuel primer bulb to see if helps, try bumping choke to see if rpm's pick up briefly. -
Update...Replaced the fuel line and bulb. Same issue. Start and trolls like a dream. As soon as you go 1/2 throttle or more it misses/skips. May be an ignition problem. With a timing light you can check for misfires and watch to see if timing is staying steady.Comment
