1987 E225TXCUB Tilt/Trim Issues

Hey all,

I've got a leak on my tilt cylinder ***embly that I believe is a bad wiper seal. I'm being told that all I can do is order a whole new ***embly. Has anyone else experienced this and, if so, is there a rebuild kit available? Also, I have a line on an 89/90 175hp tilt/trim ***embly...will this work instead? The part numbers don't match but maybe someone knows if they are interchangeable? They definitely LOOK the same...

Might take cylinder to a hydraulic shop to see if they can match up seals, The 89/90 trim unit will probably work but I have never tried it. May have to swap trim relay as well if relay is different than yours.
