1980 Evinrude E15RCSD starter pawl,spring

Hi There: I have a 1980 evinrude E15rcsd motor. I ordered a starter pawl and spring for it from Boats.Net. Put in the starter pawl but do NOT know how the spring is situated. Any tips, pics, or other info??? The part in question is listed under the exhaust housing heading.It is part #131 in the parts diagram, [0391105]. The little tiny spring somehow attaches to the pawl, plastic part. Any help for this problem? Thanks,Clem
