Model# e200sptlese
I bought this motor as a replacement for my 1979 evinrude 150. I plugged the motor into my harness and checked comp and it is 90,90,90,90,85,85. I next checked for spark and didn't get anything so thinking that I might have a problem in harness I unhooked it and wired a push button starter to jump the starter solenoid out. Still no spark at all on any of the 6 cylinders. My question is... Is there any other things that I should look for or do I need to start testing the timer base, stator, and power pack? Also I have noticed when I engage the throttle arm the timer base doesn't move with it. Not sure what would cause that but still should have some spark even with the timer base not moving correctly. I will have a manual Tom to get the wiring diagram for everything but just checking to see if there is something that I'm missing
Thanks in advance for any help
