purchace a 89- 140 suppost to be running right..broke fuel pump installing motor..purchased 1 used said to fit 115 to 140 ran it this week end and ran good low speed soon as tredi to get to high speed would die..does anyone know correct pressure..premixing it ..thks

Sounds like you may need to remove and clean the carburetors. (plugged air/fuel p***age)
