Fuel Pump

I have a 1997 150 hp.evinrude boat motor e150gleuc model with vro fuel pump.The fuel pump has failed and I would like to know if a low pressure electric fuel pump can be installed,and just add oil to fuel when re-fueling.The original oil injection system was removed and I added oil to fuel manually.

I would ***ume the electric pump would work ok, but have no personal experience with this type of conversion.
