I have a 1982 13' whaler and a 1982 35hp evinrude.
I am boating at 7500'-9000'. What size prop should i be using? It has a 10x13 on it.
I also need help with the carb set up? How do you adjust the mixture on this thing?
I bought the boat last year in Denver CO (5200') I used it about a dozen times at 9000' and it ran great. The last couple of times I ran it it started to bog down at full throttle. I installed a fuel pump repair kit and it still runs weird.
I have never worked on an outboard motor before. I dont have any work shop manuals and I am hesitant to start ripping stuff apart, blind. I am willing to take the carb apart myself if I could get pointed in the right direction.
Any help would be great.
