using two motors on one line?

I have a 40hp evenrude and a yamaha kicker. since the male connectors are different size, can I put a tee in the hose so I can feed off the same tank. I will only use the kicker in case of emergency

Yes you should be able to do that, just be sure to install a shut of valve to keep the main motor from starving for fuel.

Thanks much. I guess I should put a shut off on both hose extentions.
