Bow arm cable for Evirude trolling motor

There are 3 cables listed on the parts diagram for model BFL4TK. Part #25. My cable measures 56 inches end to end. What is the correct way to measure for replacement and which item # do I use?

You would measure from where the thread starts on both sides.
0397704 = 36"
0397937 = 42"
0432788 = 48"
