200hp Ficht Ram

I have a 2001 Evinrude Ficht Ram 200hp mounted on a 17 foot b*** boat. The engine used to perform well and I would get up to 114km per hour out of the engine. I then had to replace one of the coils and I inserted wedges between the engine and the jack plate to get a deeper trim when fully trimmed in. This effected the performance so I removed the wedges and mounted the engine back in its original position. I expected to get the performance I was used to but I now only get 98km per hour.

Please let me know what I can try to get back to the original performance.

Check the compression and spark. Did you change the propeller?

Would a problem with spark not show up on my diagnostics test? I used the same propeller.
