1982 evinrude E115MLCNB new stator

original pt.#582016 new replacement #583671 6A. From you guys. It came with black connectors,i had to put on to replace the ones that were connected to it which were blue. But they were opposite then my origonals brown,brown-yellow. Plus the new one also has 2 yellow wires, not yellow,& yellow-grey like the originals. What do i do?

That stator is for models without power trim only, if have power trim then should use 0583672 stator.

i don't have the power trim i have the right stater . I just don't want to burn out something if i put it on backwards. meaning wires are opposite?

If you mean the brown wire on old is brown/yellow and new has yellow wires on old are yellow/gray on new one then it's ok to use new one.
