81' 70 HP Evinrude timing advance?

Could someone post a link to show where and what the timing advance is on my motor? It starts fine, idles great, revs up in neutral, but is reluctant to speed up in gear after it idles for a while. Once it does rev up in gear, it runs great. Compression is good on all cyl, plugs are in good condition (new), but seem a little cool as far as color is concerned. I can run at speed for as long as I want to, but if I bring it back to idle for any length of time, it is once again reluctant to get back up to speed.
I have looked this up on-line and this seems to be a common issue.

That symptoms sounds like you may need to check carburetor adjustment, maybe loading up.

timing should be at TDC at idle sitting at 1000-1100 rpm and at WOT should be 17 degrees sitting at 5000-5500 rpm make sure you sync your carbies so they all operate together. good luck!
