I have 1993 200 hp (E200TXETF).
Won't start, no spark on all cylinders.
Disconnect the 2 kill wires to the power pack, no spark.
Disconnect the wiring harness, use remove start switch, no spark.
Disconnect the rectifier under the power pack, use remote start switch, no spark.
Reconnect all leads above.
Disconnect the ground to the power pack. Starts up, spark on all cylinders but turns off when you move the key switch from "Start" to "Run" positiion. Once I've done this, reconnect the power pack ground lead, starts and runs normally. If the motor sits, not running, for an hour or so. I must unground the power pack and repeat the process.
Does any one understand this behavior?
