  • Evinrude e-tec 90 salt water accident

    Hello all.

I'm a proud owner of e-tec 90. Year ago, I had an accident. During a storm my boat fliped over. My e-tec had aboud 40 working hours before accident.

In storm top part was in water for short period of time.
After flipping over boat, evinrude started without any problems and it was working for about 4-5 minutes.

That all happend 1 year ago. My question now. I'm going to repair it put it in working shape. What things I should check/repair/replace in order to ensure that evinrude won't have any problems in near future? Engine number is e90dpxscb

Looking forward for replay. Best regards

You should complete the normal service items. Not much else is required. Be sure to drain all the fuel and oil to ensure you have no problems, prior to starting.

Thank you for your reply. Can you tell me where to read out what normal service items are? Thanks
