1984 E70TLCR Evinrude Boggs down and stalls

I have a 1984 E70TLCR Evinrude.

After a few hours of working at maximum RPMS and I stop it idles fine but when I accelerate again it Boggs down and stalls. This happens when the engine is hot. Cool water comes out of the motor, so is not overheating.

I have replaced the fuel lines, fuel pump, rebuilt the carburetors and I am replacing the thermostat.

Any ideas to what the cause may be.

Check compression with engine warm to see if cylinders are even, check timing and synchronization. Try pumping primer bulb when restart to see if helps or bumping choke when boggs.

hi i had the same problem on my 70hp and found out that my breather on my tank was blocked and the tank could not breath, it just kept sucking fuel and no air to replace it. Hope that helps
