115 fuel leak issue

1996 115 hp leaks fuel when engine is turned off...nice rainbow of gas and can see dripping from under engine. engine runs just fine but it is losing fuel. Primer bulb never gets hard (although when I changed bulb's it did from tank to seperator to bulb) clearly leak somewhere at the engine, just lloks like so much to take off to get at ti and knowing myself, mess something up...any good place to start...? thanks

Check the fuel pump, if it has a bad diaphram will cause an gas leak. Also check to make sure the carburetors are not overflowing. Be sure to check all fuel lines and connections.

thanks for the response. checked lines etc...all good. Carbs are definitely overflowing at idle and under power....next step? (I will check other threads for this issue too) thanks

Then you need to remove the carburetors and thoroughly clean.
