Need a key

for my new used boat. 1989 25hp evinrude B*** Tracker PF16. Can I get a new key or do I have to change out the ignition switch?

i broke my key off in the switch ..and i call a lock smith and he made me to keys to fit around 25 $ cheaper that buying a new switch

If you know the key number, a key can be ordered. However if you do not have the key number a new ignition switch is required (unless you have the lock smith make you one, like above post)
