I just aquired a 77 35702C Evinrude that is a pull start. The motor is almost showroom. I would like to keep the pull start function and add electric start. Is this a reasonable option or out of the question? Side note. If I want it, it is usually out of the question.

Its not out of the question. The following links should ***ist you:

You will need the starter ***y (last in list) and everything inside box (solenoid, etc)

Everything you will need are in those links I sent you. Many of the bolts for the brackets are reusable. The electrical should be the same, you will need an ignition switch.

I haven't looked at your parts listed, but when I inquired at a local dealer about doing this, I was told that it would be cost prohibitive. I hope for your sake that is not the case. For me, I'll have to continue to pull the rope and hope that as long as I take proper care of my motor it will continue to start on the first pull. Good luck.
