Hi everyone, I'm new here and to boat motors in general. I'm looking at an old evinrude that the guy has no info on. It was in his basement 10 years ago when he bought the house and it still sits there. He sent me a couple pictures of it but I don't know how to post them. The picture of the tag shows the numbers 4389-18491. Doesn't have any exterior markings that I can see(looks like its been repainted over the years). Looks to be very old though, maybe 30's/40's??? I'm looking for something to put on my 11 footer, which is rated to 6hp. Could anyone tell me anything by the numbers given? Thanks in advance
