1991 15hp control adapter

I have a 1991 15hp evinrude remote steering motor I would like to use and replace my 1996 johnson 15hp which failed. Is the "remote control adapter kit" everything I need to make the switch between throttle and gear controls ?? ANy help would be great. Thanks.

Your likely to require the steering link kit as well.
