Hello, first time visitor here and I have a question about the controls on my old motor. I have a 1972 Evinrude 65hp on a center console boat and the controls are on the outside of the console. my question is can I mount them on the inside of the console on the same side (right side)? thank you, newoldboatguy.

Not sure exactly which control box you have but the dual lever control box can be mounted on right or left side of console. -

I don't remember if that control box can be on either side or not, as long as it will mount on other side without restricting throttle lever you should be able to.Comment
