switching motors

I have a javelin 353 boat with a 70HP 2 stroke evinrude motor i would like to take the motor off and put a 9.9 motor when i go to another lake so could you tell me if i can use same steering cables and gas lines that are on it or do i have to have differant ones or is thier a certain motor that will hook right up to everything without changeing anything thanks for all your help

If the 9.9 is a remote control model then everything will work.
