  • HP SS prop evinrude deck boat selection

Hi All, I am thankful at times like this for forums.
got a fibergl*** 3 hull deck boat (older sunbird) and just put a 150 yr 2000 evinrude outboard on. tried a few props available from friends: Stainless OMC, Viper. Viper 14-3/4-17 is giving me ok performance...i bought a Solas rubex 14-1/4x17 and i lost 8mph and had lots of cavitation...(prop had no cupping) and lost trimming.
Unfortunately i am overseas and can't go to a dealer or store to see the physics of the different propellers.
My engine is slightly higher than normal, and need to have trim to get speed up. i use the boat in the ocean.
i am researching again and don't know out of all the following props is best:
i have read up on these props but their are no figures to describe the amount of cupping and raking etc.
Also because i am overseas, i prefer a replacable hub.
    Viper : Rebel: SSTII: Hydrus:Renegade B***: Cyclone.
The Hydus says agressive cupping, but don't know if its better that Viper?, SSTII mentions double cupping...is it better than Viper?, i have read there Rebel has better fuel economy and performance than viper, does this mean it will be better for me? help please. I would also like to move to a pitch 16 as i only get 4700 rpm at WOT.

The Viper is what we see used on most deck boats. But only way to find perfect prop is the water test with each prop.
